Gallerix x The Non-Violence Project - Face the Truth

Stockholm, Sweden – 2025-10-02

After the success of the first joint collection inspired by the iconic “Knotted Gun” sculpture, Gallerix and

The Non-Violence Project Foundation are proud to present the next chapter in the long-term collaboration:

“Face the Truth” – a bold and emotionally charged collection of black-and-white portrait photography.

This new collection goes beyond aesthetics. Each image captures a deeply human emotion – from quiet

strength and vulnerability, from resistance to hope, to joy and happiness. With stark, stripped-down visuals,

“Face the Truth” gives a voice to the unspoken and becomes a visual presence in spaces that often remain

silent. It is an invitation to reflect, to feel, and to start conversations about the realities we live in – and the

change we wish to see.

“Art should do more than decorate a wall – it should stir something inside you,” says Jimmy Håkansson,

CEO of Gallerix. “With ‘Face the Truth,’ we continue our commitment to creating art that moves people.

Each image is a tribute to the emotional strength of humanity and a reminder that non-violence begins with

empathy and awareness.”

As with the first launch, 20% of all sales from the ‘Face the Truth’ collection are donated directly to The

Non-Violence Project Foundation, supporting their global work to prevent violence through education and

creativity. The collaboration highlights the shared belief between Gallerix and the foundation: that visual

expression has the power to inspire peace.

“This collection takes our message into homes, workplaces, and hearts,” says Filippa Idsäter, Business &

Communication Coordinator at The Non-Violence Project Foundation. “It helps us reach people on a human

level – where art becomes a mirror of both reality and possibility. Together with Gallerix, we continue to

build a more peaceful world.”

About the Non-Violence Project Foundation

its identity is the world-renowned Knotted Gun sculpture by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd – a

universal symbol of non-violence created in response to the tragic death of John Lennon in 1980. Today,

versions of the sculpture are displayed in prominent locations around the world, including outside the

United Nations headquarters in New York.
