New Non-Violence Ambassador for Peace Shai Dahan, American contemporary painter and street artist

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Shai Dahan for joining us as a new Non-Violence ambassador for Peace. We feel immensely fortunate to have him onboard and to have his support in our quest to stem violence.

Shai Dahan is an American Contemporary painter and street artist who works with paintings, drawings, murals, illustrations, and sculptures. Raised in the city of Los Angeles, he was introduced to the Street-Art culture at a young age. He has been a keynote speaker at TEDx, and painted in London, Miami, Paris, Germany, Poland, Los Angeles, and Palestine to name a few.

He now lives in Sweden, where he paints full-time and continues to create large scale paintings, murals and sculptures.Shai strongly supports the idea of using art as a language that brings people together, promoting it as a common unifying force.

"I am thrilled and honored to be an Ambassador for the Non-Violence Project. This Ambassadorship signifies more than just a partnership; it represents an opportunity for me to contribute positively to the world through my art. It will allow my creativity to serve a purpose beyond the walls that I paint; and as a tool for social change and advocacy. The alignment of my passion for art with the Non-Violence Project's mission to inspire and engage youth, allows a shared commitment to foster peace and compassion. Together, I hope that the foundation and myself can create a ripple effect, to continue using creativity and art as a medium to inspire, unite, and ultimately make a meaningful impact in promoting a world free from violence. The Non-Violence Project has already been incredibly supportive of using art as a medium to solve conflict and I am excited and honored to be given the opportunity to join them on this journey."

We look very much forward to standing together in collaboration on various topics, including art, awareness, and education!
