Non-Violence Launches Digital Education App in Sweden – Aiming to Reach 20 Million Children and Young People by 2030
On 11 February 2026, Non-Violence launches its new digital education app in Sweden. The initiative makes the organisation’s programs in self-esteem, conflict resolution and non-violence more accessible, with the ambition of increasing its global reach from 10 million educated children and young people to 20 million by 2030.
The launch responds to a growing need for long-term, preventive efforts to reduce violence in society. By strengthening children and young people early in life, Non-Violence aims to contribute to safer childhoods and a more sustainable society over time.
The new app is designed for teachers, coaches and other adults working with children and youth. It provides a structured and user-friendly tool to implement the programs in schools, sports clubs and other youth activities. During autumn 2025, the digital format was beta tested in schools across Sweden with strong results and is now ready for a broader rollout.
“To reduce violence in society, we need to work preventively and start early. By equipping children and young people with tools for self-esteem and peaceful conflict resolution, we can contribute to long-term change,” says Anna Hellman, President of The Non-Violence Project Foundation.
The digital format makes the programs more cost-effective and accessible, enabling wider national and international implementation. While the app is now launching in Sweden, it will be released globally during spring 2026.
The launch marks an important step in Non-Violence’s continued mission to empower children and young people and contribute to reducing violence in society.
