Press release —
Art platform Andy okay partners with The Non-Violence Project Foundation to support youth education in conflict resolution
Online art platform Andy okay announces a new collaboration with The Non-Violence Project Foundation, bringing together contemporary art and social impact to support violence prevention education for children and young people.
The initiative launched in April 2026 and will run through June with weekly limited art releases by a curated group of ten international artists. Participating artists include Rik Lee, Malin Gyllensvaan, Jan Skácelík, Amanda Egnell, Harley & J (Jaz Meier), Studio Soph (Sophie Holt), Paugalk (Paulina Gałka), Elin PK (Elin Palmaer Karlsson), Seb Toussaint and Lisa Larsson.
Each artwork will be released as a limited release in support of The Non-Violence Project Foundation’s educational programs, with a particular focus on Sweden. The collaboration aims to both raise funds and increase awareness around the organization’s work in promoting Non-Violent conflict resolution among young people.
Andy okay is an online gallery where art meets philanthropy, collaborating with leading contemporary artists to release limited-edition prints tied to carefully selected social and environmental causes. Through its “give what you can” model, the platform makes art more accessible while allowing each purchase to contribute to meaningful change. Previous collaborations include partnerships with WWF, Rainforest Trust and ShareTheMeal.
The Non-Violence Project Foundation is a global non-profit organization with over 30 years of experience in violence prevention. The connection to art is central to its identity, most notably through the iconic “Knotted Gun” sculpture designed by the Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd as a tribute to John Lennon’s vision of a peaceful world.
Rooted in the belief that violence is a learned behavior—and therefore can be unlearned—the organization delivers evidence-based educational programs that strengthen young people’s self-esteem, empathy, and ability to manage conflict peacefully.
In Sweden, where many municipalities are affected by rising insecurity, the need for long-term preventive efforts is significant. Through a scalable “train-the-trainer” model, teachers, school staff, coaches and youth leaders are trained to deliver the programs directly to youth.
In 2026, a new digital educational tool will also be launched to further expand reach and long-term impact.
- By combining art and social impact, we create a platform for both awareness and tangible change. We’re grateful that the artists want to be part of this and use their work and their voice to support The Non-Violence Project’s important mission, says Andreas Häggkvist, founder of Andy okay.
The project will be supported across both Andy okay’s and The Non-Violence Project Foundation’s global channels.
