op5 celebrates ten successful years
Server monitoring solution provider op5 celebrates its 10-year anniversary. The company was initially founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2004 to meet the market demands for a flexible and scalable, yet cost efficient solution for server monitoring.
– We founded op5 with the mission to develop the best and most intuitive IT monitoring solution; flexible, scalable and cost efficient for our customers. We achieved this by building on an existing open source platform and adding the high quality support, warranties, documentation and structured road map that the professional market expects, explains Jan Josephson, Co-founder and CTO at op5.
Over the past ten years, the high-tech start-up founded in a basement in central Stockholm has grown into an internationally established business. op5 celebrates its 10 year anniversary with customers and partners in over 40 markets. Today, op5 Monitor monitors everything from small but business critical IT environments to the very largest organization with distributed hardware, applications and services. The company was recently awarded as a Top 100 Global Winner by Red Herring.
