op5 releases new Management Pack to simplify deployment of professional VMware monitoring

Server monitoring solution provider op5 extends the support for VMware system administrators by launching a new Management Pack. The Management Pack is designed to simplify the deployment and change management of professional VMware monitoring.


The first op5 Management Packs launched in 2013 received a warm welcome in the market and has since become a great success among system administrators. Just as the existing Management Packs for Linux, Microsoft, Cisco and HP devices, the new VMware pack will make it easier and less time consuming to deploy qualitative monitoring across the IT environment.


The VMware Management Pack offers system administrators a flexible tool for predefining check commands and thresholds: CPU, memory, swap and network usage, I/O read and write latency, runtime status and runtime issues via vCenter.
