Latest ProcureCon Report shows the pandemic impacting 62% of organisations' procurement strategies

Helsinki, August 26: During Q2 of 2020, WBR Insights interviewed 100 Chief Procurement Officers from across Europe. This research and analysis has now been released in the 2020 ProcureCon Report titled: Adapting your Procurement Strategy in a Pandemic.

As a co-sponsor of the ProcureCon report, OpusCapita was able to contribute to the theme and the analysis. This report is entirely focused on addressing the key challenges faced by procurement organisations during this unprecedented global pandemic. From this report we clearly see the measures being taken by CPOs to mitigate the risks associated with struggling supply chains and broader contractions in global markets. This report offers a timely benchmark for the new normal.

Key findings include:

  1. 62% of organisations have seen their procurement strategy impacted by the pandemic
  2. 21% of organisations see services procurement as the most impacted element in the whole process
  3. 64% of buyers will be re-writing terms and conditions in supplier contracts
