Osstell sponsors dental clinic in Italy

The inauguration of the new clinic in Feltre, Italy, will take place on June 5th 2010. Cooperation on clinical issues between the founders of Clinica Feltre and Osstell started many years ago, and the clinic has been very involved in the development of today’s user-friendly Osstell instrument, the Osstell ISQ.

“The treatment performed at the clinic is of the highest standard and quality, with clinicians dedicated to providing the best possible care to the patients. Since Osstell is a company that provides implant clinicians with unique diagnostic tools aimed at supporting high-quality care, the company has chosen to sponsor Clinica Feltre with an AV system and Osstell instruments in addition to the successful outcome of the cooperation. At Osstell we are looking forward to continuing this close cooperation over the coming years,” says Jonas Ohlsson, Managing Director and President of Osstell AB.

Osstell AB, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, specializes in instruments for analyzing dental implant stability. Its latest product, Osstell ISQ, measures the stability of implants in a precise and objective way, using the universal ISQ scale (Implant Stability Quotient). The ISQ values help dentists determine the optimal time to load each implant – immediately or later, even when osseointegration is underway. By detecting decreasing stability, Osstell ISQ can prevent failure caused by premature loading. Over 230 studies and ten years of clinical experience around the world confirm the usefulness of Osstell ISQ for dentists and surgeons.
