Hurtigruten Selects OXE Diesel For Their New Tender Boat

Hurtigruten is a daily passenger and freight shipping service along Norway's western and northern coast between Bergen and Kirkenes. They also offer Explorer voyages in Antarctica, Greenland, Iceland, Spitsbergen and across the Transatlantic.

Hurtigruten has been testing their new tenderboat with an OXE engine installed, suited for their arctic and antarctic cruises. They are very pleased with the outcome and have produced a video from their Norwegian cruise line.

"The boat is especially constructed for our purpose. [...] Meaning we have focused on two things: its' strength and amount of people add into the boat.", said Hurtigruten.

Hurtigruten has ordered 15 OXE engines through Cimco's Norwegian distributor Link Norge AS. Cimco is honored to supply Hurtigruten with our OXE diesel outboard, for an environment and purpose where strength and reliability is important.
