Cimco Expands Distribution Territory Into South America
Cimco Marine, the manufacturer behind the diesel outboard OXE, announced the expansion of OXE’s commercial availability into South America. Cimco established a distributor agreement with Motores del Pacifico S.A., who will have distribution rights for the OXE throughout Ecuador. With this agreement Cimco will have their first distributor in South America.
“Cimco is proud to declare that Motores del Pacifico is our official beach head into the South American market – it is a reliable and professional organization, with an experienced and well trained technical team,” said Jim Denley, Sales Manager at Cimco Marine. “We are particularly looking forward to seeing OXE units in service around the Galapagos Islands, where its greatly reduced emission levels shall enhance the existing preservation measures for this unique and protected habitat.”
Motores del Pacifico has more than 23 years of experience of the Ecuadorian market and proven experience from working with marine diesel outboard engines. They have been distributor of Yanmar diesel engines for 23 years, and they have also represented other Japanese products and Japanese trader houses.
