Classes Open for Jan 2013

Registrations are now open for class in January 2013. 

For the past few weeks, BagoSphere has been screening students for its second pilot batch in January. So far, we have screened about 90 applicants and have selected highly motivated and outstanding students for the pilot. We will be closing applications soon as we will be starting class on the 7th of January.

We are also streamlining our recruitment process to give a smooth and less stressful experience for potential students. Understanding that stress and nervousness usually robs applicants from performing in the interview, we have kept the process simple at the start. Hence, we begin with an introduction to BagoSphere, followed by a listening and reading test. If an applicant passes the test, a final interview follows. The whole process usually takes just 3-4 hours depending on the number of applicants.

Most of our applicants are high school graduates and college undergraduates with at least one semester of college. As what we have experienced thus far, all of them cannot afford expensive college tuition fees. Hence, those who had good grades in high school cannot continue to college, or even if they manage to do so, cannot afford 3-4 years in school. Most drop out by the 1st semester. 

The concern of most students is tuition fees. We have made extra effort to explain to them our financial repayment schemes that are open to them. Some of our students are referred to by Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF). For these students, they can take a special loan under NWTF's Dungannon Bank. For the rest of the students, they will "Train-First-Pay-Later". This means that they only start paying their tuition fees only after they have gotten a job, and they have the opportunity to pay us back in affordable monthly instalments. Many students appreciate the chance to get a shot at getting a full-time call center job since the financial barrier for them to obtain call center training  is lowered. BagoSphere is glad to be able to serve the needs of the rural youths.
