Romstal partners with Infinite for the EDInet platform

After nearly a decade of market presence and less than two months since opening its subsidiary in Romania, Infinite,  the owner of EDInet, has established a new strategic partnership and become the EDI provider of Romstal, the market leader in the sales of construction equipment in the South-East Europe.

The services offered by Infinite through the EDInet platform will transform the exchange of commodity documents between Romstal and nearly 2000 local and international suppliers with the immediate business effect:

• Operational excellence by accelerating the processing of the cargo documents,
• Increased data accuracy and improved information exchange by eliminating errors,
• Significant cost savings achieved by lowering paper document processing.

Additionally, Romstal has chosen to use the professional archiving services offered by Infinite, which are in line with all EU and Romanian e-archiving rules. From now on, all electronic documents will be stored in the electronic archive for 10 years, in compliance with the retention period in Romania. Moreover, e-documents are secured with a qualified time stamp, so Romstal will be able to thoroughly control who and when has access to them.

As a result of the  EDInet project, Romstal will become more efficient, switching from the use of paper in favour of electronic document processing with suppliers – the change that is a part of the company's Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
