Denmark’s leading dental supplier Plandent A/S acquires Fiskers Dental Service A/S

Denmark’s largest dental supplier Plandent A/S has acquired Fiskers Dental Service A/S, the fourth biggest dental distributor in the Danish market. Plandent A/S is a part of Plandent Division, which is Europe’s second largest distributor in dental supplies, technology and services. Plandent Division belongs to the Finnish Planmeca Group which is one of the world’s leading manufacturers in dental and medical technology.

Fiskers has a history as a Planmeca dealer, so the world-leading Planmeca product portfolio is very familiar to their customers as well. Also, Fiskers’ highly experienced and appreciated service technicians are a great addition to our service offering”, says Berit Nielsen, the Managing Director of Plandent A/S.

The previous owner of Fiskers A/S Mr. Bo Teis Blok, will continue in his role as the Managing Director of Fiskers. The company has a turnover of EUR 4.5 million.

The fast-growing Plandent Division has market-leading distribution companies in 13 countries in Europe. The whole Planmeca Group operates in over 120 countries employing 2,650 people worldwide. The Group is looking to attain a turnover of EUR 800 million in 2014.
