Planmeca PlanID™ sign-in system receives Innovation 2019 honorable mention

The unique sign-in system of Planmeca dental units has been awarded with an Innovation 2019 honorable mention at the Finnish Dental Congress and Exhibition in Helsinki.

The Dental Industry Innovation Award has been handed out at the Dental Congress and Exhibition which is currently underway in Helsinki. The award is given to a company or a society that has strived to improve the working conditions of dental professionals, the safety of patients or the overall quality of care. The award winners are chosen by a jury consisting of dental care experts.

The Planmeca PlanID™ sign-in system has earned an honorable mention at this year’s Innovation competition. Planmeca PlanID is the industry’s first sign-in system that lets dental unit users access their personal settings instantly from any location with a simple flash of a card. When individual settings remain the same from unit to unit, good working ergonomics are also easier to maintain.

The system is especially useful in dental schools and hospitals as well as in large clinics and chains with many users. With dental units that adapt to the needs of different users instantly, the use of treatment facilities becomes much more flexible and efficient.
