Plantagon part of new exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History

The Future of Food, in Our Global Kitchen

The American Museum of Natural History in New York is today opening a new exhibition where Plantagon is taking a part. The exhibition, Our Global Kitchen will be traveling around the world for around seven years. Plantagon CEO Hans Hassle and CFO Owe Pettersson are present in New York for the opening ceremony on November 13.

Plantagon wins Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce New York-Deloitte Green Award 2012

The Swedish-American company Plantagon was awarded the 2012 SACC New York-Deloitte Green Award for their breakthrough green innovation within the food chain, the Plantagon Vertical Greenhouse. The award was presented by H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden at a Royal Gala Award Dinner on October 3 in New York. Representing Plantagon were CEO Hans Hassle and Chairman Professor Oren R. Lyons.

Plantagon signs memorandum of understanding with the Tongji University in Shanghai

Shanghai, July 4, 2012 — Plantagon International has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tongji University in Shanghai. The MOU states that Plantagon and the University will cooperate regarding research on town-planning issues. In warm remembrance of Chief Virgil Thomas

Today we took some time off at the Plantagon office to remember a fine, warm and greatly missed friend - the late Chief Virgil E. Thomas - Board Member and co-founder of Plantagon International. Our thoughts go to Chief Thomas' family and to the Onondaga Nation that lost one of its greatest leaders. Chief Thomas, age 73, chief of the Onondaga Turtle Clan, passed away November 9, 2014.
