Establishing a vertical greenhouse in Botkyrka, Sweden

Plantagon has signed a letter of intent with the Botkyrka municipality in Sweden for establishing a vertical greenhouse. The project has received funding from the Swedish government's Clean-tech Initiative, the Delegation for Sustainable Cities. Construction is planned to begin in 2012.

Sweco on Plantagon's Botkyrka project

Swedish company Plantagon has signed an agreement with the municipality of Botkyrka, in the outskirts of Stockholm, to cooperate on the establishment of a first vertical greenhouse in Sweden. Sweco acts as the technical consultant on the project which has already generated great interest worldwide.

Plantagon awarded the Stevie Award Distinguished Honoree, in Abu Dhabi on October 11

Plantagon was honored in The 2011 International Business Awards, and was recognized at a gala ceremony in Abu Dhabi on 11 October, where Stevie Award trophies and Distinguished Honoree (honorable mention) medals were presented. Plantagon was awarded Distinguished Honoree in the category "Food & Beverage".
