Welcome Eran Benjamin new Global QC/AD Director

Eran Benjamin joined PolyPeptide Group in November 2019 as Global Director, Quality Control and Analytical Development. Prior to joining PolyPeptide Eran worked many years within Eli Lilly.

We decided to ask him some questions to get to know him better.

What´s your impression of PolyPeptide so far?

“The PPL Group is highly passionate about peptide pharmaceuticals, and is eager to both improve the science, technology and business; in order to provide the best possible solutions that truly make a difference to people. I’ve observed the same passion across all departments and leadership, spanning HR and procurement to Production and QA.”

What thing strikes you most about your new job?

“The collaborative nature and the need to constantly re-invent knowledge sharing across departments, with teams working together from very different disciplines. We must continue to evolve, collaborate and educate each other in those aspects.”

What aspect of your job excites you?

“At Lilly, I worked with hundreds of scientists but all from CMC groups, while at PPL I have the pleasure of working with so many engaged people specializing in different aspects of the Pharmaceutical business. Very quickly, I felt welcomed, and a genuine friendship from this great team. In addition, the efforts to harmonize our practices across the organization are both very challenging and yield great satisfaction when we are able to succeed.”
