Tapio Nirkko comes 10th in the London Olympic Games - congratulations from the Port of Helsinki

Tapio Nirkko, who has been a partner of the Port of Helsinki for several years, came 10th in the Finn sailing class at the London Olympic Games. The Port of Helsinki congratulates its partner for an excellent performance!

Finn has been an Olympic sailing class ever since the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952. Finn is a traditional and internationally very popular sailing class, and best suits sailors over 85 kg with a strong build.

The Port of Helsinki has been sponsoring Tapio Nirkko since 2004. During the period of co-operation, Tapio's best results in addition to his success in the Olympic Games have included a silver medal in the European Championships in Bulgaria in 2009 and 5th place in the World Championship in Great Britain in 2012.
