PRESEND City Center Card reaches milestone

PRESEND Nordic AB asserts its position as the Nordic market leader in city and town gift cards with the signing of its 50th city and town center program in Norrtälje, Sweden.

CBS City, a reseller to PRESEND Nordic specialized in city and town center marketing, explains the City Center Card’s success. “The towns and cities have embraced the gift card as a tool for promoting local trade and a vibrant city center,” says Håkan Hult, Administrator at CBS City. “We are seeing widespread adoption with town cards being used for more purposes than consumer gifting and business incentives. Town cards are used as welcome gifts to new residents and students, rewards for blood donors, and charity donations. It is ultimately about supporting the local community.”

The PRESEND City Centre Card won a special commendation at the 2014 Global Prepaid Awards. The City Centre card helps promote local trade and drive footfall to city and town centers, including small and independent businesses. Card acceptance is restricted to the businesses chosen by the city or town organization joining the program, and the card is branded with their logo.
