It is an exciting time we live in – the time of the digital revolution. In a few years, completely new products and services have been created that we previously did not think were possible. The digital revolution is part of a process that aims to improve and streamline a business using digital technology. It can also be about faster development of existing operations or to invent completely new innovations with the help of new technical solutions.

Since 2014, Sigma IoT & AI has been established in several locations in Sweden and has successfully established itself as a leading supplier in the market for projects and services within IoT and AI. To meet the ever-growing demand, the business is now expanding to Göteborg, where Patrik Sporre has been recruited as the new Regional Manager.

– It is with great joy and pride that we now welcome Patrik Sporre as Regional Manager for our business in Göteborg. Patrik's solid experience, expertise and personality will be a great asset for the entire company and of course our customers. Sigma has won the trust of many well-known companies in the Göteborg region over the past year and it now feels like the right time to further expand the business, says David Österlindh, Senior Director IoT & AI at Sigma IT.

As Regional Manager in Göteborg, Patrik Sporre will help Sigma's existing as well as new customers, on their digital change journey. Together, they will develop exciting services and solutions that will make them even more competitive in both the national and international markets. Patrik will be responsible for both sales and recruitment during the start-up phase.

For the past seven years, Patrik has worked in various roles from strategy, product management, business development and sales, with a focus on establishing and helping global Swedish and international companies with their digitization journey and the Internet of Things.

– It feels great to be a part of the Sigma Group and together continue the successful journey, which is imbued with entrepreneurship and openness with incredibly competent, driven and professional colleagues – And the vision of contributing to a better tomorrow for employees, companies and society as a whole. The IoT business at Sigma is strong and is at the forefront of competence and experience with leading partnerships, which I have tried, among other things, when I have worked with them in my role at Ericsson. Furthermore, it is a great honour to be able to make an imprint and put Sigma IoT & AI on the map of Göteborg, concludes Patrik Sporre.
