TINGLE YOUR TASTE BUDS AT THE 4TH QATAR INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL, HOSTED BY QATAR TOURISM AUTHORITY AND QATAR AIRWAYS

Doha, QATAR – Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and Qatar Airways are staging a feast for the senses with the 4th Qatar International Food Festival, taking place throughout the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park on Doha’s waterfront from March 28 – 31.
As in previous years, visitors will be able to sample various cuisines from around the world and enjoy tantalising signature dishes from some of Doha’s best 5 star eateries.
New for 2013 will be an expanded range of zones for kids and families, new restaurants from Doha’s latest hotel openings and a great line-up of music and entertainment.
This year’s festival was redesigned to incorporate amazing zones to keep visitors’ palates satisfied for hours on end. A total of no less than 40 food stalls, including 16 in the Snack Zone, 16 in the International Zone, 5 in the Qatar UK Zone and 5 in the Healthy Zone.
The 2013 Festival offers a huge choice to whet the appetite with delectable cuisines from all over the world for a truly immersive foodie experience.
As this is the year of Qatar UK, there will be an entire zone dedicated to these two great cultures. To celebrate Qatar UK Year of Culture 2013, the Qatar UK Zone will feature British food, as well as traditional Qatari tents offering Qatari food and hospitality. Visitors can indulge in Arabic sweets and high tea courtesy of Hilton Hotel, St. Regis Hotel Doha and the Ritz Carlton.
For those who wish to have more of a VIP experience, they can purchase a ticket to the VIP Zone which entitles guests to a 3 course meal catered by Babig Restaurant.
The Healthy Zone will be a draw for those who want to indulge, but still want
to watch their waist
line! Indulge in salads, smoothies and delicious low fat treats. Perrier will also have a tent set up for those who wish to quench their thirst.
The International Zonewill offer 16 stalls of country-themed food courts covering European, Arabic, American and Asian cuisines.
For family entertainment there is the Family Zone with playgrounds, kid’s entertainment areas as well as snack kiosks.
Entry to the event is free. Vouchers for food and drink at the festival will be sold on site at the event.
