QNET is also Official Direct Selling Partner of Marussia F1 Team in Formula 1™ World Championship (2011-2013).
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Suresh Thimiri, MD and CEO Transview Enterprise, franchisee of QNET in India said, “I believe Indian Sports to be on a positive state of transition and factors like higher expendable income, changing lifestyle and opening of traditional markets, all have a role to play. Sponsoring sports and sportsmen is our way of contributing and catalyzing this change. QNET's mantra of best products in the right business is something we have seen take-off very successfully in the sports domain. Our energy and health products are specifically targeted here.”
QNET also plans supporting this three day play-off by mobilizing tennis enthusiasts across the city of Bangalore. Also speaking on the occasion, commending QNET’s support, Vice Chairman of KSLTA organizing committee M. Laxminarayana, IAS, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Karnataka said, “We appreciate QNET’s support for the Indian Davis Cup Team for this round of play-off. A symbiotic partnership between the corporate, government and sports fraternity is the only way forward to build sports in India. Bangalore is excited to host a Davis Cup after 28 years. We wish the QNET Indian Davis Cup Team the Best.”
Mr. Suresh Thimiri added, “QNET believes in paving the way forward in not only CSR activities but also in the field of sports and hence we support growth of our youth into better citizens of tomorrow through the medium of sports. Though cricket takes centre stage in our country, QNET believes that corporate support for other sports is all the more paramount to help the youth of India."
