Bosch Built-In Vacuum and Mop Robot, developed in collaboration with ECOVACS: the invisible helper moves in

  • The world’s first built-in vacuum and mop robot—developed in collaboration between Bosch and ECOVACS—blends invisibly into the kitchen and ensures thorough cleanliness. The full-service station is directly connected to the fresh water, wastewater, and power supply lines. The station cleans both the robot and itself.
  • With a powerful suction capacity of 20,000 Pa and a height of just 84 millimeters, the robot thoroughly removes dirt and debris even in hard-to-reach places.
  • The vacuum and mopping robot with full-service station was developed by Bosch in collaboration with ECOVACS, the world’s leading provider of service robotics.

Munich, Germany – A small helper that automatically takes care of floor cleaning but otherwise remains invisible—this wish is now coming true. Bosch, in partnership with ECOVACS, presents a true world first with its built-in vacuum and mopping robot, setting new standards for household cleaning and kitchen aesthetics. Not only the robot, but also the wet-dry service station is seamlessly integrated into the kitchen. From charging the robot to cleaning the service station, all processes take place behind the kitchen cabinetry. For the first time, this allows the highest standards of hygiene, comfort, and home design to be harmonized.

The invisible helper for a clean home

The Bosch built-in vacuum and mop robot with full service station, developed in collaboration with ECOVACS, is the first system of its kind to be fully integrated into kitchen cabinets. All associated modules fit inside the sink base cabinet, leaving enough space to accommodate standard waste disposal systems as well. This preserves the kitchen’s aesthetics while keeping all cleaning and maintenance tasks related to the robot out of sight. Through an automated door in the baseboard, the robot can drive in and out of its service station on its own. The service station is connected to the fixed water supply for fresh and waste water as well as an electrical outlet and cleans both the robot and itself. It includes an antibacterial dust bag with a 2-liter capacity and an automatic detergent dispensing system. Additionally, the mopping pads are cleaned with 75°C hot water and dried with 45°C hot air—ensuring hygienic floor cleaning. The anti-leakage system reliably ensures that no water escapes from the service station and that kitchen cabinets are protected from water damage. This world-first innovation fits into any kitchen and can be easily installed by a trained kitchen installer.

Perfectly equipped for thorough cleaning

Thanks to its ultra-slim design, just 84 millimeters high, the robot fits effortlessly under furniture—even under baseboards ≥ 10 cm high - and reaches even hard-to-reach spots. With its powerful suction of 20,000 Pa, it is Bosch’s most powerful robot vacuum to date and removes dust and dirt of all kinds with ease.

Equipped with patented technologies from ECOVACS, it is perfectly equipped for any task. Two rotating mopping pads, one of which can be extended for extra reach, ensure spotless cleaning right up to the edge. An extendable side brush also enables thorough cleaning of corners and edges.

The robot uses its Smart Vision camera, structured light, and various sensors to navigate. This allows it to detect obstacles and find its way around the house or apartment. It also recognizes when it’s driving over carpet and raises the mopping pads by up to 9 millimeters. Even barriers up to 20 millimeters high, such as door thresholds, are no problem for it.

Smartly connected for even more features

The built-in vacuum and mop robot is controlled via the Bosch Home Connect app.[1] There, users can view and adjust the floor plan created by the robot and also define no-go zones. Furthermore, they can set routines or give their robot a name. The built-in vacuum and mop robot meets the highest quality and safety standards of Bosch and ECOVACS. All data remains within the EU and is therefore subject to strict data protection guidelines.

The built-in vacuum and mop robot was developed by Bosch in partnership with ECOVACS. ECOVACS, a global leader in service robotics, remains true to its mission of “Robotics for All” and offers intelligent, convenient, safe, and reliable cleaning solutions for various areas of household cleaning. As part of a strategic partnership, the two companies have combined their individual expertise and strengths to develop and bring innovative and intelligent solutions for floor cleaning robots to market, in order to better meet consumer needs.

The built-in vacuum and mop robot will be available in stores starting in spring 2026.
