Bosch presents its new range of Inclined Hoods​​ - Quiet, efficient and easy to operate​

• The Inclined Hood models in the Series 6 and 8 are equipped with the integrated SilentPowerDrive, a brushless motor that ranks among the quietest and most powerful of its kind.

• All Inclined hoods are fitted with high-performance multi-layer metal filters that trap coarse grease particles. For recirculation mode, they can be fitted with activated carbon filters — the new ‘Long-life Clean Air’ filter — which can be easily refreshed in the oven.

• On all models, the power settings and worktop lighting can be controlled via an intuitive touch interface; the models in the Series 6 and 8 can also be set to adjust automatically to cooking vapours and odours.

Munich, Germany – The presentation of Bosch’s Inclined Hoods from the Series 4, 6 and 8 underscores the brand’s leading position in the European home appliance market. All models impress with their quiet operation and high performance. Thanks to their powerful, best-in-class fans, combined with advanced filter systems, they ensure fresh, clean air in the kitchen. The cooker hoods’ practical, angled design, which offers ample headroom, the well-designed lighting and the ease of cleaning all add to the overall appeal. Bosch’s Inclined Hood line assortment and accent line assortment will be launched in September 2026.

Quiet operation

All Bosch Inclined Hoods are characterised by their quiet and powerful motors. Particularly noteworthy are the models in the Series 6 and Series 8, which are equipped with SilentPowerDrive – a brushless motor developed in Germany that is driven by a permanent magnet — which generates minimal mechanical friction and therefore delivers high performance whilst operating quietly. Combined with their special rear panel design, the models in the Series 8 are the quietest recirculating Inclined Hoods in Europe, operating at just 59 dB1. All models in the Series 6 and Series 8 are rated A+ for energy efficiency, whilst the models in the Series 4 are rated B.

Pure efficiency

Just as powerful as the motors are the Inclined Hoods’ state-of-the-art filter systems: depending on the model, they are fitted with 1 to 3 high-performance multi-layer metal filters, each with 7 to 17 layers of mesh, which trap coarse grease particles. As for changing the filters, they are easily accessible and can be conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher.

If the cooker hoods are to be used in recirculation mode, they must be fitted with activated carbon filters. The new ‘Long-life Clean Air’ filter is ideal for this purpose, as it can be reactivated up to three times in the oven, giving it a significantly longer service life than conventional filters – a choice that is both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. In addition to its ecological benefits, this advanced filter effectively neutralizes even the strongest kitchen odors, such as fish, while capturing airborne pollen and deactivating allergens for healthier kitchen air quality.

Maximum convenience

With their angled design Bosch’s Inclined hoods offer plenty of headroom and a clear view of the hob and the adjacent worktop, which are perfectly lit. On all models, the worktop lighting and power settings can be controlled via the touch control, with the Series 6 and 8 models offering even more detailed adjustment options – they can be set to automatically adjust the fan speed in response to cooking vapours and odours, and they can also be controlled directly via the hob, provided they have been synchronised with a Series 6 induction hob via the Home Connect app. Furthermore, the app allows users to customize the worktop's light temperature to perfectly match the kitchen's ambiance.
