The Bosch Steam Drawer is specially designed for the needs of modern kitchens or as a replacement product and allows food to be gently cooked with steam. Thanks to its intuitive operation and elegant integration into the kitchen unit, the Steam Drawer is a practical addition for every household. With a height of a common drawer niche, it can be integrated into any standard drawer – like the one beneath the oven – and doesn’t take up space on the kitchen counter.

Level up your food preparation

Steaming is considered one of the healthiest ways to prepare food. It not only preserves the nutrients and natural flavor of food, but also ensures even and gentle cooking. The new Bosch Steam Drawer enable users to bring delicious food like tender fish fillets, healthy vegetables or even desserts to the table in just a few steps. And that is not all. The Steam Drawer can also be used to proof dough quickly and easily without drying out, to reheat pre-cooked dishes and to defrost frozen food fast and evenly. Additionally, the hot steam can be used to disinfect jam glasses or even baby bottles.

Due to its low height, the Bosch Steam Drawer can be installed in every standard drawer opening, like the one beneath the oven. Its design matches the Bosch line as well as accent line ovens and compact ovens of the Series 8 as well as several Series 6 line ovens, ensuring a harmonious look and feel. Thanks to the combination of Steam Drawer and oven, consumers can enjoy all existing heating modes and innovative Bosch features even in small kitchens. To ensure this enjoyment lasts, cleaning the Bosch Steam Drawer is as easy as can be. The steam tray is dishwasher suitable and the appliance automatically reminds users when it’s time to descale the water tank.

Smart assistance for easy operation

After placing the food on the steam tray, consumers can choose their preferred settings via the LED Touch Control. If they are unsure about the right duration or temperature, they can rely on the help of the Assist Function programs to support them. To do so, they select the dish they want to prepare out of a list, then press “start” and the program begins to run. The Steam Drawer will automatically switch off when the program is done. When connected to the Home Connect app[1], the Bosch Steam Drawer offers even more functionalities like a Cooking Assistant Voice Control via Alexa as well as Google Home or a cooking assistant. Users can also activate the child lock in the Home Connect app. It prevents children from accidentally switching the appliance on or changing the settings.
