Next generation with even more power: The new Spotless 2 cleaning robots ensure a deep clean

  • The next generation of Spotless robot vacuum cleaners with a mopping function offers even more power and practical features for thorough floor cleaning.
  • Up to 30,000 Pa of suction power and intelligent stain removal ensure a truly deep clean.
  • The extendable, antibacterial mop roller [1] with cover protects carpets from getting wet and leaves a residue-free finish.

Munich, Germany – For sparkling clean floors, you need not only powerful suction but also thorough mopping. The new Spotless 2 models from Bosch – the well-known range of robot vacuum cleaners with a mopping function – offer this combined power. Depending on the model, they feature new capabilities that enable them to detect stubborn stains, automatically adjust their cleaning behaviour and then independently maintain their mop roller.

No chance for dirt

The Spotless 2 Advanced + and Spotless 2 Max + models vacuum at up to 30,000 Pa – more than twice as much as previous Spotless models.[2]

Their new main brush has a conical design that is open on one side: hair automatically unravels and is sucked in straight away. Hair tangles and the associated maintenance are now a thing of the past. The extendable, antibacterial mop roller [1] reliably picks up dirt and cleans without leaving any residue – even along walls and around edges. When vacuuming, the robot raises the mop roller by 15 mm, thus protecting even thicker carpets from getting wet. If the intelligent stain removal system, using a camera and AI, detects a stubborn stain, the robot stops vacuuming, lifts the main and side brushes, and cleans the area specifically with the mop roller. It then returns to the wet-dry service station to rinse the mop roller thoroughly. Even door thresholds are no obstacle for it; it can easily negotiate them up to a height of 20 mm – the Max+ models can even handle up to 24 mm.

The entry-level Spotless 2 model features a Carbon Power Brush to minimise hair tangles and two rotating mop pads, one of which can be extended. It can raise these by 9 mm if necessary, for example when vacuuming carpets. With 25,000 Pa suction power, 360° LDS LiDAR laser navigation and structured light, it ensures a thorough clean of the floors.

Once the robot has finished, the station takes over

The intelligent wet-and-dry service station takes care of the essentials after every clean: it cleans and dries the mop roller or mop pads using hot water and hot air at up to 75 °C, automatically dispenses cleaning solution and charges the robot. The premium models, Spotless 2 Advanced + and Max +, also feature adaptive hot-water cleaning: the water temperature for the mop roller can be adjusted via the app depending on the room being cleaned – 40 °C for bedrooms and living rooms, 55 °C for the kitchen or children’s room, and 75 °C for the bathroom. The integrated antibacterial filter [1] ensures clean exhaust air by trapping fine particles and allergens whilst vacuuming. The antibacterial dust bag[1]
securely seals the vacuumed-up dirt until disposal.[3]

Bosch quality

The Spotless 2 models can be easily controlled via the Home Connect app [4]: Users can define NoGo zones, have individual rooms cleaned in a specific order, schedule tasks or use the Matter function for integration into smart home networks. The navigation technology in the Advanced+ models combines an integrated ToF LiDAR laser sensor, structured light, a camera and an additional infrared light – for precise orientation even in dark rooms and corners. The Max+ models also feature side sensors. All models are fitted with Bosch-certified batteries, and a ten-year warranty on the TurboSpin motor [5]underlines their commitment to quality. The devices’ data is stored on European servers and complies with the requirements of the Federal Office for Information Security.

The new Spotless 2 will be available in shops from September 2026. The Spotless 2 Advanced + will follow in October, and the Max + in January 2027.
