Munich, Germany – Powerful support often acts in the background, unseen and unheard. The new Integrated Design Hoods from Bosch are no exception. They blend effortlessly into any kitchen aesthetic and provide powerful extraction with minimal noise.

Powerful extraction meets silent operation

The Integrated Design Hoods are designed to deliver exceptional performance while maintaining a whisper-quiet operation thanks to their Eco Silence Drive technology. With a noise level as low as 57 dB in exhaust mode, the Series 6 hoods are hardly noticeable while keeping the air fresh and clean – creating the perfect environment for peaceful cooking sessions and effortless conversations. The powerful Eco Silence Drive motor achieves an extraction performance of up to 750 m3/h. The recirculation system of the hoods uses two types of filters: the grease filter captures coarse grease particles, while the optional Long-life Clean Air activated carbon filter eliminates finer grease and persistent odours. The activated carbon filter neutralises even strong smells like fried fish and airborne particles such as pollen and allergens. The filter can be refreshed three times, lasting up to four years.[1]

Hidden space for versatile storage options

The clever design of the hoods maximises storage space in the kitchen, offering up to 20 kg of load capacity behind the cabinet doors – more than enough space for the usual herbs and spices. The T-shaped design of the chimney means users can store up to 10 kg on each side, which is enough for full-size containers, cookbooks and other weighty items they want to keep within reach. For flexible storage space, users can fit additional shelves of various sizes around the chimney.

Seamless integration for modern kitchens

The hoods blend effortlessly into any kitchen aesthetic. When not in use, they remain virtually invisible, preserving the clean lines of the kitchen. The Series 6 hoods are equipped with an elegant glass panel that can be folded away when it’s not in use. It allows the use of the DirectSelect control: a simple tap on the touch panel adjusts the settings. The Integrated Design Hoods of the Series 2 and Series 4 can be operated via push buttons. LEDs bathe the hobs in clear light, facilitating operation while also being energy efficient.

Even more power: the Bosch accent line

The Integrated Design Hoods are also available as premium versions in the Bosch accent line. All Integrated Design Hoods from the accent line come with a foldable glass panel, seamlessly integrating into any kitchen. The Series 8 accent line hood reaches an impressive extraction performance of up to 900 m3/h. It is equipped with Smart Hood Automatic Plus, meaning it not only automatically activates the fan when cooking is started but also adjusts the extraction rate based on information gathered by an air quality sensor. This way, Smart Hood Automatic Plus ensures a fresh kitchen environment and a stress-free cooking experience.
