Great News – KUKA Will Join RoboBusiness Europe 2016!

KUKA was founded in 1898 in Augsburg, Germany, by Johann Josef Keller and Jacob Knappich. Initially, the company focused on house and street lights but soon expanded to other products such as welding equipment and solutions and big containers.

Today, KUKA Robotics is one of the leading manufacturers of robotic systems worldwide. KUKA offers a unique and wide range of industrial robots and robot systems, covering all common payload categories and robot types. Matching controllers and software for a variety of scenarios round out their extensive product portfolio.

KUKA’s industrial robots are used in a number of applications, such as materials handling, loading and unloading of machines, palletizing and de-palletizing, spot and arc welding. They are used in large companies, predominantly in the automotive industry, but also in other areas such as the aerospace industry.

KUKA, together with their system partners, provides automation solutions perfectly tailored to their customers’ applications and industries – and if they don’t have something already existing, they can develop robotic systems to meet individual needs. They offer a comprehensive range of services including collaborative planning, start-up and maintenance in order to help their customers realize the full potential of KUKA’s products.

RoboBusiness Europe is happy to announce that KUKA will be exhibiting at this year’s event and we look forward to working together with them and advancing the industry!
