Coffee & More – One of Sagaform’s Most Iconic Series
With its sleek design language and carefully selected colours, designer Margot Barolo has created a tableware collection that combines playfulness and functionality. Now, a new colour is being launched – a warm and inviting beige, perfect for complementing the existing shades.
Coffee & More is characterized by its unique relief pattern, inspired by Swedish design history and the graphic expression of the 1970s. Made of durable stoneware, the series includes bowls, mugs, plates, side plates, cups, and a teapot – designed to suit both everyday use and special occasions.
– Tableware should be used daily and withstand many meals and washes without losing its charm. With Coffee & More, we wanted to create a robust yet easy-to-match collection, says Beatrice Lindgren, Design and Concept Manager at Sagaform AB.
When Margot Barolo designed Coffee & More, her vision was to create more than just a tableware collection – she wanted to enhance table settings as an invitation to togetherness.
– In all cultures, a cup of coffee or tea is a gesture of companionship. I wanted Coffee & More to reflect that feeling – inviting and easy to use, regardless of the occasion, she says.
The new colour is a warm beige tone that adds a soft and stylish touch to the table setting. The shade has been carefully developed to complement the other colours in the series and to remain just as relevant today as it will be in ten years.
– Beige is one of the most versatile colours to work with. I wanted to create a light yet soft shade that works just as well on its own as it does when combined with the deeper shades in the series. Additionally, it’s a shade that feels modern yet timeless, says designer Margot Barolo.
The collection’s stackable design and varied relief patterns encourage mixing and matching colours, patterns and shapes freely. The patterns are designed to both contrast and harmonize, creating a vibrant and personal table setting.
– I love how Coffee & More encourages creativity – stacking, mixing, and creating your own style. It makes every table setting unique, says Margot.
