Hong Kong Finland 100 Expo – 10^th of May 2017 in Hong Kong

Finland is celebrating the 100th year of independence this year. It is possible to find plenty of various special events all around the world related to this independence celebration. On May 10^th 2017 Salli was honored to join the Finland 100 exhibition in Hong Kong organized by Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (Finncham). Finncham had gathered over 30 companies to show their products and services to public at SME Center at Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Center. The pleasant atmosphere of Finland expo was enjoyed by almost 350 visitors, who got the chance to learn about the Finnish businesses, meet Moomin and Santa Claus, as well as participate in interesting discussions and activities in the seminar room. Also companies from food industry had organized lovely drinks and snacks for tasting. Not a bad way of spending a day in busy Hong Kong!

Salli was represented at HK exhibition by Salli’s Hong Kong based Export Manager Louisa Yu, as well as General Manager (Hong Kong/China) Erja-Liisa Lappalainen. Salli Saddle Chairs that were presented at Finland 100 expo were specially designed in blue and white color, symbolizing the national flag of Finland. Many Nordic visitors were already familiar with Salli chairs, as Salli has been making pioneering ergonomic solutions and sitting health promoting in Europe already for over 26 years. The visitors who got the first impression of Salli at Finland 100 expo were very curious about the interesting and special design of Salli chairs, and were immediately impressed after trying by how comfortable and natural the good posture feels.

Presenting Salli chairs is always a pleasure as we are confident about the impact we can make on people’s lives and their health and well-being. Of course I am privileged as a Salli employee to use Salli every day. Therefore I have very personal experience about the benefits of having good posture.
