Salli Systems’ new CEO leads the company towards its 30th anniversary

Salli Systems, the leading expert in sitting health, is entering the new year with renewed vigor. Niina Koponen, CEO, (Business Developer, Bachelor of Business Administration) has taken over and is guiding the company towards its 30th anniversary in September.

- My goal as the CEO is to ensure Salli's growth and success in the tight market environment. I believe in agile development and courageous experimentation with new approaches. Salli's strengths are fresh ideas for developing business and introducing new operating models. The new recruitments will bring new expertise into the company and thus reinforce the know-how of the other employees, says Niina Koponen.

In addition to the new CEO, the following people have started at Salli: Chief of Finance Marika Kiiveri, AD Jaakko Väisänen, Financial Assistant Heidi Närhi, Marketing Assistant Niina Lyytinen, Key Account Manager Veera Koppi, and Chef Iiris Keinonen. Inga Kosunen, the new Marketing and Production Manager for Sahala Herbs, and Hanna Lehmuskallio, Managing Director of Salli's Chinese subsidiaries, will start in March.

There's more to the Mall of Tripla showroom than just saddle chairs

In late November, Salli opened a showroom in the Mall of Tripla, in Helsinki. The shop features a comprehensive selection of Salli's ergonomic furniture, and also ergonomic accessories from its partners. However, Salli's sitting health concept is not just focused on sitting in a chair, but the store also features a new lightweight saddle, Salli Riding Pad, a multi-purpose bean bag and Salli Paddler, the catamaran canoe. Salli Paddler revolutionizes paddling as in it one is sitting upright on a saddle seat. The product is a result of Salli's own product development, including ergonomically designed paddles.

Anew product will be launched to celebrate the 30 years of making saddle chairs

Salli will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, and a new product will be launched soon. The product development is constantly working to ensure the anatomical superiority of the flagship product, the Salli Saddle Chair. However, Salli's health concept also covers, for example, good sleep and healthy living, and new products focusing on these areas are under development. Sahala Herbs, which is situated next to Salli offices in Rautalampi, focuses on providing customers with genuine natural flavors, health education and new insights into wild herbs.
