Cyber security seminar visits Romania

Business Security’s seminar entitled “Cyber security - a mutual challenge,” was held in Bucharest, Romania, on March 12. Business Security and its local partner Tryamm Trading Consulting put cyber security on the agenda during the all-day event held at the Swedish Embassy.

Swedish IT security provider Business Security continues to bring its popular cyber security seminar to selected European countries. On March 12, the seminar “Cyber security, a mutual challenge” took place at the Swedish Embassy in Bucharest, Romania. Business Security hosted the seminar in collaboration with its Romanian partner Tryamm Trading Consulting. The event gathered some 40 attendees from local government organisations, military and corporations.

“We are excited to bring our cyber security seminar series outside of Scandinavia. By collaborating with our knowledgeable European partners, such as Tryamm in Romania, we want to educate and bring new insights about cyber security challenges and solutions to other parts of Europe,” says Jonas Dellenvall, Security Expert at Business Security.

In addition to cyber security presentations by Business Security and Tryamm Trading Consulting, external speakers included Calin Rangu, Executiv Director at CIO Council, who gave a general presentation about the importance of cyber security;  Andrian  Furtuna, Senior Security Consultant from KPMG, who showcased how penetration testing is a critical tool for improving cyber security within corporations; and Adrian Sora, Senior Solution Architect at Logika, who detailed how using identity management increases security within corporations.

“Our seminars help us create an arena between us, our partners and other external security experts and professionals to discuss global and local cyber security challenges and ways to create cyber secure organisations and corporations. Cyber security is a top priority on the EU agenda and there is a growing awareness within the EU that it is key to business growth and economic competitiveness. Meeting to discuss these topics across country borders is very valuable, ” says Jonas Dellenvall.
