We’ve been so busy we forgot to send out a press-release… But yes, we’re live with the e-commerce part of AgentVegan!

What’s the big deal you might ask – launching an e-commerce site today is mostly to select a platform, slap some paint on it and be up and running?

We’ll, if you’re fine with “kind of following our vision” and “almost integrates with the rest of the concept” you’d be right. But if the ambition is to become best-in-class and deliver a truly integrated experience across all parts of the concept, you’ll need to do better.

“Last year we decided to go with a headless content management platform to build the recipe, blog and overall site structure. The result was a high-performance site that matched our global ambitions.

Adding an out-of-the-box e-commerce frontend was never an option, since that would have forced us to lower these ambitions a lot. We knew that we needed to go headless with the e-commerce as well.” says Stefan Olsson.

With no constraints, the team has designed and implemented not only the basics that you will find in any e-commerce solution, but also found clever ways to minimize clicks and navigation – all the product information is available already in grid view in small tabs, an innovative way of implementing a quick-view.

Now the fun part begins, the feedback from customers on what features and products they would like to see. The journey has just begun, but trust us, e-commerce is about to become a whole new game…
