Great interest in Europe’s most modern Hybrid Operating Room in Lund, Sweden
On May 5, approximately 60 persons from various companies and hospitals throughout Sweden took the chance to see the new Hybrid Operating Room at Skånes’ University Hospital in Lund. The initiators and organizers of this meeting was Skånes’ University Hospital in Lund, Airsonett and Chromaviso. During the day the participants were invited to lectures and tours of the hybrid room.
The Hybrid Operating Room is about 90 m2 and has bi-plane x-ray equipment from Siemens, ventilation system from Airsonett and ergonomic lighting from Chromavisio, all exciting and new technologies for tomorrow's Hybrid Operating Room.
The Hybrid Operating Room in Lund will primarily be used for cardiovascular surgery for children and adults.
