Vår Toblerone-tårta fick pris som bästa dessert i UK!

We’re excited to announce we won Best Dessert in The Caterer Product Excellence Awards 2014! The Caterer is the leading national foodservice publication in the UK. Every year they arrange a Product Excellence Award with a jury of industry experts from across all sectors of hospitality. Our Almond Cake with Toblerone scooped the top prize, having been through a rigorous judging process in which 120 products were tasted. Our recently launched Gluten-Free Philadelphia Lemon Cheesecake also made the top three in the ‘Special Diets’ category.

The awards recognise excellence in food, drink and equipment within the hospitality sector focusing on flavour, design and innovation. Winners were announced during a ceremony at Westminster Kingsway College. Anders Hansson, Managing Director of Almondy, says: “We’re delighted to have won Best Dessert, and to see our Toblerone Cake as the best choice whether you want a top gluten-free alternative or if you are looking for the best indulgence treat!”

...två unga herrar vid namn Kent och Lennart som drömde om att bygga en båt och segla jorden runt. En dag upptäckte de ett hemligt svenskt recept, daterat 1890, på en oemotståndligt god mandeltårta som var olik allt annat de någonsin smakat. Denna smakupplevelse skulle förändra deras liv totalt. Istället för segling blev deras passion att baka tårtor och att dela den unika Almondy-smaken med många, många fler.
