A New Chapter for Affordable Art Fair Stockholm: More Space, Fresh Talent, and Culinary Delights
This autumn marks the 13th edition of Affordable Art Fair Stockholm, and the 2025 edition is set to be the best one yet! The fair is expanding, creating space for even more art, delicious food & beverage, and wow-worthy special projects.
A LARGER SPACE FOR EVEN MORE ART
At this year’s fair, 70 galleries and more than 500 artists will take part, offering works from both local and international voices. All artworks are priced between 900 and 90,000 SEK and can be purchased directly at the fair. Our exhibitors will be present and available for conversation, making the experience both personal and accessible. With more exhibitors than the 2024 edition, whether you're a first-time collector or a lifelong enthusiast, there will be something new to discover.
At its core, Affordable Art Fair seeks to lower the barriers to owning art, democratize the art world, and provide a welcoming cultural day out for all. The fair exclusively features living artists, a thoughtfully curated mix of fresh talent and established names, with the goal of making contemporary art approachable, inspiring, and fun.
FRESH AT THE FAIR
One of this year's most exciting additions is the debut of the special project Fresh at the Fair – a curated section dedicated to bold and affordable contemporary artworks. Developed in collaboration with Roland-Philippe Kretzschmar, founder of The Art Bystander (Scandinavia's leading platform for contemporary art combining editorial, podcast, and advisory formats), this new feature showcases emerging voices, fresh perspectives, and artists exhibiting at the Affordable Art Fair for the first time. Known for championing original and thought-provoking work, The Art Bystander brings a distinctive curatorial vision to this initiative, offering visitors the opportunity to discover new talents and acquire truly unexpected pieces.
CAMPAIGN LAUNCH
We’re also thrilled to introduce Amanda Malm’s artwork "Soft Space" as the face of this year’s campaign. Amanda Malm will be exhibiting with WAY Gallery STHLM at the fair, and her vibrant, expressive work captures the pulse of the moment and sets the tone for a fair grounded in creativity, curiosity, and joy.
CULINARY DELIGHTS COURTESY OF PONTUS FRITHIOF
This year, art meets culinary exploration through a new partnership with Pontus Frithiof and his latest venture, Fabriken. Visitors can enjoy freshly baked goods, a thoughtfully curated deli, and a cozy dining space – all designed to enrich the fair experience and create a space where you can sit down and rest between viewing the art at the fair.
As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back, we’re proud to announce a charity partnership with The Artists Gallery Cape Town. A portion of every artwork sold will be donated to the Emerging Artists Development Trust, supporting the next generation of creative voices and contributing to a more sustainable future for artists in South Africa.
“This year’s edition of Affordable Art Fair Stockholm will be something truly special – an art event where everyone, from families to retirees and everyone in between, can enjoy art and experiences designed to engage all the senses. With a brand-new expanded venue, fantastic food offerings through our partnership with Pontus Frithiof, and a large number of exciting new exhibitors joining us, we’re creating a fair unlike any before.” Carl Wilhelm Hirsch, Fair Director, Affordable Art Fair Stockholm
Affordable Art Fair Stockholm takes place from October 1–5, 2025, at Nacka Strandsmässan.
