Affordable Art Fair Stockholm celebrates 25 years with exclusive works of art and unique experiences
This year, Affordable Art Fair turns 25 years, which will be celebrated with a packed program at Nacka Strandsmässan the 2-6th of October. As one of the world's most renowned art events, the fair offers experienced art collectors and first-time buyers alike the opportunity to acquire unique artworks from a global mix of exhibitors – at prices to suit everyone's taste and budget.
This year's fair is themed Home is where the art is and focuses on how art can create a home and how art can reflect our feelings, expression and style. Affordable Art Fair Stockholm offers a wide range of artworks to suit both the wallet and the home, whether your taste is minimalist or more colorful and expressive.
Visitors can explore art in many different forms, including visual arts, sculpture, painting, photography, glass and textile. Several of the works are at the exciting intersection between different art forms, which gives the opportunity to discover something unique.
– To facilitate the art browsing, we’ve created QR codes that you can scan at the fair, which will showcase exhibitors that have artworks that are priced below 1500, 5000 and 10,000 SEK. This is to help our art loving visitors to find a piece that suits their budget, as we constantly strive to lower the thresholds into the world of art, says Carl Wilhelm Hirsch, Fair Director Affordable Art Fair Stockholm.
Exclusive anniversary works - Limited edition of 25
To celebrate Affordable Art Fair's 25th anniversary, unique commemorative works have been produced by several different artists and creators. Matt Dosa has created an exclusive piece of art with an edition of 25, which will only be sold during the fair. Matt Dosa is also the artist behind this year's campaign artwork for Affordable Art Fair Stockholm.
Sarah Otley has created a unique series called 25 Women, where she highlights inspiring, successful women from around the world. She selected 25 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Affordable Art Fair and to highlight how the fair has supported and elevated female artists and gallerists over the years. Through 25 Women, Otley creates a powerful tribute to the women who have made a significant impact in various fields, and at the same time highlights how the Affordable Art Fair has contributed to promoting women's creativity and visibility in the art world over the years. The series will be shown exclusively at this year's fair, as a symbolic element in the celebration of this significant milestone.
Price ceiling of 900-90,000 SEK
At Affordable Art Fair Stockholm there are artworks from both local and international artists and galleries. All works have prices between SEK 900-90,000. Visitors can buy the art directly from the fair and all gallerists and artists are open to talking and informing about the artworks on site. In total, more than 500 artists and over 60 galleries participate.
Within the framework of the Spotlight concept, stylists and decorators will create inspiring rooms that show how art can be integrated into the home in creative ways. Among these are color expert Sara Garanty, Juliet Nilsson from Nordic Art Agency and gallerist Deborah Duerr with her concept "TAKEAWAY by Duerr." Their installations will offer new ideas and perspectives on how art can transform a space and make it more personal and alive.

A creative art space for young visitors: Kids Space
The dynamic artist duo ROXEHA, consisting of Roxanne Wegscheider and Denis Auspert, presents their interactive project The Happy Trip at Affordable Art Fair Stockholm. Children and adults are invited to participate in the creation of a 4.5 meter long doodle filled with funky characters and asymmetrical shapes. This collaborative project develops over the course of the fair as visitors add their own colors and ideas to the doodle. This initiative, together with support from Änglavakt, makes Kids Space an inspiring part of the fair even for the youngest visitors.
