FrostPharma strengthen its product portfolio with Betapred

FrostPharma strengthen its product portfolio in the Nordics by including Betapred (betametasone) from the 1^st of April, 2023.

Through an exclusive long-term distribution agreement with AlfaSigma, FrostPharma has secured the Nordic rights to distribute Betapred. The agreement is another steppingstone in FrostPharmas growth journey.

Betapred is a strategic fit in FrostPharmas broad, therapeutic agnostic portfolio of pharmaceuticals within niched specialist indications and disposables for the health care community.

Betapred is an efficient cortisone treatment which inhibits inflammation and allergic reactions. It is mainly used for short term treatment to ease symptoms for example in asthma, allergy, snake bites and more severe reactions of bites from insects. Betapred is also used to treat pseudocroup.

Betapred comes in both tablets and solution for injection, and could be defined as a standard treatment within its indications in Sweden. Through its broad treatment use Betapred constitutes an opportunity for growth as well as solving broader unmet medical needs.

Since the start 2027 FrostPharma has successfully commercialized a broad portfolio of products within several therapeutic areas within the Nordics and beyond.
