A-förpackning AB and Volvo sign Preferred Supplier Master Agreement

A-förpackning AB, based in Mölndal, Sweden, has today announced the signing of a multi-year preferred supplier agreement with AB Volvo. The company has worked with Volvo Group for over 30 years and this agreement reflects the ongoing quality, reliability and innovation required for a Preferred Supplier rating. The agreement will make A-forpackning the preferred supplier for packaging and packaging material for the Volvo Group.

“This is a very important agreement for us,” says Åke Lindgren, CEO of A-förpackning. “This is a meaningful step in our relationship with Volvo, since it is both a confirmation of the quality of service we have provided over the years as well as a vote of confidence for the future.” In addition to being the preferred supplier for all of the Volvo Group’s packaging needs, collaboration between the companies will be further intensified through the planned investment of a full scale EDI, the establishment of demand prognoses at an article level, and storage agreements.
