TATI celebrates 10 years!
The TATI series by Johan Ridderstråle and Mats Broberg for ASPLUND Collection celebrates 10 years! There is a TATI for every environment and requirement.
For us, it was love at first sight! Now a decade has passed, and the TATI series is loved by many and more popular than ever. Designers Johan Ridderstråle and Mats Broberg created a timeless and iconic classic in 2011 for ASPLUND Collection with the characteristic arc shape. They skillfully managed to create the perfect combination of soft subtle elegance and playfulness with contrasting materials in refined combinations. The curved metal frames is inspired by Jacques Tati's humoristic character Monsieur Hulot.
"Looking back 10 years ago, when we made the first sketches of what was to become a table called Tati, our goal was to create a design that was simple yet versatile and would stand the test of time. A decade later we can, together with the producer ASPLUND, proudly claim to have reached this goal. A long living design is something that is created and managed with love and enthusiasm and thereby receives the care that is needed for its survival.
