Avarda advances - launches new visual identity

The leading provider of white label payments, Avarda, introduces a new visual identity that mirrors the constant pursuit of excellence and innovation. Avarda is growing significantly and ended 2023 with 40 % year-over-year increase in volume. This new launch also sets the tone for their upcoming 10-year anniversary. "With this new look, we're renewing our promise to offer exceptional value and tailored payment solutions", says Rasmus Rolén, Avarda's CEO.

Avarda offers omnichannel payment services for retailers in the Nordic region. The payment solution is designed according to the white-label principle, meaning the customer remains within the retailer’s store throughout the entire purchase - giving the retailer control over the customer experience. Founded in 2015 with offices in Stockholm (HQ), Borås, Oslo, and Helsinki, Avarda is now adopting a new visual identity, developed in collaboration with R3 advertising agency.

A chameleon among payment solutions

The rebranding consists of a new logo, new brand colors and a new symbol. The logo has evolved from a traditional form to a design that aligns with Avarda's future direction. The new profile exudes friendliness and trustworthiness, complemented by a techy vibe.

The visual concept is based on a lowercase 'a' specially developed for Avarda. It creates uniqueness in the logo. Like a chameleon, Avarda always adapts to the current environment, which is why the chameleon now takes its place as a new symbol, says Robin Rudholm, CEO and designer at R3 advertising agency, who has worked on developing the new visual identity.

Soon available beyond the Nordic region

Avarda is planning to grow beyond the Nordics. The company believes that building strong relationships with customers and partners is vital for success. The new brand identity reflects both Avarda's mission as well as its commitment to being simple, flexible, and close to its merchants. This rebranding marks the beginning of a new chapter where we renew our commitment to providing exceptional value and tailored payment solutions for our merchants, both within and soon beyond the Nordic region.
