AXJO ESTABLISHES NEW U.S. FACILITY IN TEXAS

Fort Worth, Texas - Axjo Group, a global leader in recycled polymer packaging solutions, is taking the next major step in its international growth journey with the opening of a new production facility in Haltom City, Texas.

The brand new, 160,586 square-foot facility, located just outside Fort Worth, is scheduled to begin production in January 2026. The site will support the full U.S. product portfolio, mirroring operations at Axjo’s North Carolina plant and will also introduce production of spools and larger cable reels, starting at 30 inches and up, opening doors to new business opportunities across the North American market.

The facility will launch with a team of 30 employees, combining skilled local hires with experienced Axjo personnel, reflecting the company’s long-term focus on regional integration and sustainable growth.

“This is a natural next step for Axjo Group. We’re clearly seeing a shift in the U.S. market—demand for our sustainable cable spools and reels is growing rapidly. For us, it’s only natural to be where our customers are, with local production and a strong presence,” says Jacob Nilsson, owner of Axjo Group.

At the same time, there is growing awareness of the advantages of recycled plastics in industrial applications. Compared to traditional materials like plywood and wood, which are heavy, weather sensitive, and require complex handling, Axjo’s plastic spools and reels offer a lighter, more durable, and weather resistant alternative, reducing both environmental footprint and operational costs.

Establishing a second U.S. site is a major milestone for us,” added Tim Schultz, CEO of Axjo America. “This expansion brings us closer to our customers in the Southwest and unlocks new opportunities to deliver locally produced, high-performance cable spools and reels with lower environmental impact. It’s a win for business, for the planet -but most of all, for our customers.”

As Axjo celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025, the establishment of the Texas facility represents more than geographic growth. It symbolizes the company’s evolution from an innovative manufacturer into a global innovation leader -a company driven by purpose, partnership, and the power of circular design.

The expansion into Texas further strengthens Axjo’s presence in North America and reinforces its role in the global supply chain.
