BassetLabs to supply Zain with Interconnect Billing Solution
BassetLabs, a global provider of telecom business supporting systems, today announced that it has signed a major contract with Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa. BassetLabs will supply its market-leading ‘Inopac' interconnect billing solution and managed services to the Zain Group.
BassetLabs has been awarded to implement their interconnect billing solution ‘Inopac' after a very thorough evaluation process in competition with the most renowned solutions on the market. The ‘Inopac' solution has already gone live in the first phase, with great success and on time.
"We have seen great expertise and results from this project together with BassetLabs. They have delivered a scalable, powerful and flexible interconnect billing solution according to specification, within budget and on time. We have also seen an excellent and very short return on investment for this project," says Zain Group Chief Information Officer, Mr. Mohammed Rafi.
"The project has been a great success from the very beginning and we are mutually impressed with all parties involved. Zain has shown a great amount of expertise and we are very happy to work together with them in this project and to support their future business," says BassetLabs Regional Vice president Middle East and Africa, Mr. Khalid El Hajji.
This project is strategically important to BassetLabs as it further strengthens BassetLabs position in the MEA region. "We already have a large installed base within this region and with this contract we will be the number one provider of interconnect solutions in the region" states BassetLabs President & CEO Mr. Jesper Wikström Förne, "but equally important for us is to again see the proof that the combination of strong solutions, many years of global experience and a very dedicated BassetLabs team does result in increased market share. To work close to Zain and their teams is of course fantastic opportunity for us to become even stronger."
