Arbor – design Madeleine Nelson and Frida Pettersson

Furniture manufacturers Källemo wanted a shelving design that would complement their Pilaster bookshelf and their magazine rack Zink. As a tribute to the company’s Concrete chair, designed by Jonas Bohlin and numbered and signed like an art print, Arbor is signed with the two designer’s thumbprints. The shelf is a practical item of furniture that can house varied content as well as function on its own as a sculpture with an architectonic expanding expression. The birch wood and iron, are both taken from Källemo’s library of materials.
