Kolonn – design Klara W Hedengren and Lisa Lindh
In our collaboration with Massproductions we have considered what defines a piece of furniture. Sustainability has been our main focus throughout the entire design process, and Kolonn is made of 100% cellulose fibres with no toxic additives. In our design we have experimented with the qualities of the material and the fact that it is lightweight, flexible and stable. This has resulted in a room divider and room creator inspired by architectonic elements and artists like Natasha Perova and Louise Bourgeois. Kolonn is an object between sculpture and room that can both divide and create new spaces. From the two static columns you can roll it out, create a wave shape, a straight line or a room.
