Berghs School of Communication and Istituto Marangoni Launch International Partnership Bridging Communication, Fashion, and Design
Berghs School of Communication is proud to announce a new academic partnership with Istituto Marangoni, which was launched in the summer of 2025. This collaboration brings together two leading institutions in creative education and offers students the opportunity to begin their studies in Stockholm and complete their degree in Milan, Paris, or London.
“We’re truly excited about this partnership with Istituto Marangoni. It connects our students to new creative cultures and industries. They can start their journey in Stockholm, build a solid foundation, and then continue their degrees at Istituto Marangoni in some of Europe’s top destinations for fashion and design. It’s an incredible opportunity for personal and professional development across the two schools and different countries.”, says Marie Alani, Executive Dean at Berghs School of Communication.
The pathway begins with the Berghs Bachelor program in Stockholm. After completing their first term, students can transfer to Istituto Marangoni to pursue degrees in Fashion Management, Visual Design, Fashion Communication, or Digital Media, depending on the campus they choose.
Each city—Milan, Paris, and London—offers a distinct creative culture shaped by its local market and industry landscape, giving students a truly global perspective on design and communication.
The partnership reflects both schools’ commitment to project-based, industry-connected education and supports future collaboration across faculty and programs.
“Partnering with Berghs School of Communication represents a meaningful step in expanding Istituto Marangoni international partnerships’ network to Sweden. Welcoming Berghs’ students into our Bachelor Degree programs will allow our faculty to build on the strong foundation and the unique blend of creativity they’ve developed in Stockholm, and offer them new opportunities for growth in Europe’s leading fashion and design capitals. This collaboration is not only a bridge between institutions — it’s a shared commitment to nurturing globally-minded, innovative professionals.”, says Roberta Cesaro, Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships at Istituto Marangoni.
