6 Things the Business Analyst Needs to Know at the Start of the Project

The skilled, experienced technical business analyst plays a critical role on the project as the main liaison between the project manager and the technical project team members. Not only that, they are often the “interpreter” for the project customer so what they need to be ready for at the beginning of the project is both critical and varied.
I've outlined here what I feel are the 6 most critical things that the business analyst needs to know or find out at the beginning of each technical project. Not always in detail – that may not be possible. But at least in as much detail as is possible. Let's examine and discuss.
