To build upon this 'Nordic story', Bird & Bird has established a Nordic LinkedIn account as part of the firm's joint Nordic offering. The account is affiliated with Bird & Bird's firm-wide LinkedIn page, where updates from the firm's work across its 29 offices around the world are continuously shared with a global audience.

"The Nordic story which the new channel will allow us to share is that we have a wide understanding of the mechanisms and implications of technological change and disruption in our clients' business sectors in the Nordics, be it in Technology & Communication, Automotive, Security & Defence or Media, Entertainment & Sports" says Jori Taipale, Partner and Bird & Bird's Head of the Nordic Region. "We know our clients' business in depth and see where the market is going, as we have some 150 lawyers working in the Nordic market and our offering in the region is fully integrated and flexible."

The Nordic LinkedIn account will offer topical business law content in English, Finnish, Swedish and Danish, focusing especially on developments in the Nordic market and sharing topical content about recent changes in the region's jurisdictions as well as newly established cross-border deals and transactions in the Nordics.

"By establishing our Nordic LinkedIn profile, we will bring our Nordic cross-border work and insight to the most active professional social media channel of today", explains Partner Maria Carlsson, who heads Bird & Bird's Marketing and Business Development Coordination Group in the Nordics.
