Carpe Diem Beds participates in the exhibition "Swedish Design Moves Milan 2018"

As Swedish design is presented in a unique exhibition during the design week in Milan, Carpe Diem Beds is included in the HEMMA - Stories of Home installation.

The installation Hemma - Stories of home, is an initiative taken by well-known Swedish institutes such as Visit Sweden and Svensk Form. The installation, in which over 40 famous Swedish brands participate, wants to emphasize that Swedish design is more than somber and modern minimalism. It is characterized as much by creativity and equality. In particular, it is available and functional.

The exhibition shows how Swedish brands can be combined in an exciting mix that still has a common denominator. Participating Swedish brands, apart from Carpe Diem Beds, include, among others, Three Sekel, Zero, Studio Mutant, No Early Birds, Lammhults, Gemla, Design House Stockholm, Beckmans College of Design, Urbanears, Zero, Blue Station and Astrid. The installation is held in the Brera Design District of Milan, a sprawling neighborhood where restaurants and vibrant city life are mixed with shops and studios.

Linda Schori, General Manager at Carpe Diem Beds:

“It’s an honor for us to participate in a context that wants to showcase what Swedish design is all about. We are proud of the Swedish design heritage and take it forward by sourcing power and inspiration from Swedish nature, as well as from modern and urban men and women. Carpe Diem beds wants to represent innovative Swedish design, an attitude that we share with the other participating design companies. It’s exciting to see what an eclectic installation can do to bring Swedish design onto an international vibrating scene.”
