CCAP FALL SEASON 2015 IS TAKING OFF!

September 17^th, 18^th, 19^th

SAD - Seriously Addicted to Doubt new (short) solo by Cristina Caprioli, performed by ccap collaborators Emelie Johansson and Anja Arnquist premieres at the Rotunda of the Royal Opera within the frame of festival:display of Koreografiska Konstitutet 2015. September 17^th, 18^th, 19^th

The same weekend, c.off presents the festival KROPPSFUNKTION at the ccap space, now filled with ccap TREES.

The festival presents a dense program with amongst others, criptheorist Robert McRuer, gender studies Scholar Renita Sörensdotter, Tove Sahlin’s My Own Bodies and a first insight in (in)perfect choreographies - a collaboration between ccap and David Pervaz.

Figure A Sea by Deborah Hay and music by Laurie Anderson has world premiere at Dansens Hus Stockholm.

Figure A Sea is a CullbergBallet production in coproduction with ccap, presenting ccap collaborator Ulrika Berg as guest performer in the CullbergBallet.

September 24^th - 27^th

ccap and c.off premiere as publishers at the Gothenburg Book Fair: c.off with KROPPSFUNKTION – an anthology, and ccap with Here, here and here here and here, here here here and here, here. (new edition, image book and Viktext), as well as ccap.cloth, ccap 2014 2015, WEAVING POLITICS and WEAVING POLITICS LECTURES.

September 26^th and 27^th

ccap collaborators Anja Arnquist and Madeleine Lindh present the performative reading Right Here at Röda Sten GIBCA – Gothenburg International Biennale for Contemporary Art and House of Words, and at the platform Skogen (http://skogen.pm/events/rodrigo-sobarzo-prins-of-networks-the-demise-of-networking/)

October November

ccap inhabits the Design Hall at Telefonplan in Stockholm with a two-months season; in October with the installations cloth.0 and Sadness extended and in November with the stage production Here, here and here here and here, here here here and here, here. and the installation HERE – whilst TREES is performed at Regionteatern in Växjö… More about that in the next newsletter.

Samtidigt pågår c.off festivalen KROPPSFUNKTION i ccap:s lokaler på Körsbärsvägen, nu fylldaav ccap TRÄD. Festivalen presenterar ett fullspäckat program med bland andra cripteoretikern Robert McRuer, genusforskaren Renita Sörensdotter, Tove Sahlins skakfest My Own Bodies och en första inblick i (im)perfekta koreografier, ett samarbete mellan ccap och David Pervaz.
